Malt for brew malt has to meet the special demands of the beer production but it is sometimes also used as bake malt for baking. Mostly it is barley which is malted for the production of beer. This has historical backgrounds because barley even grows on bad soil and it is not qualified for baking that is why they could brew it even in times of misery. Today we also use wheat and rye malt because they obtain as good results as barley malt. We guarantee that the malt we sell is of best quality. The brew malt we buy comes from certified seeds that are not genetically manipulated. Moreover our malt is only from cultivation in Germany.
